Employment history:

Leanne joined Mourant Ozannes in 2003 and has worked in the Jersey and London offices. She advises a number of real estate and private equity funds on an on-going basis. In 2009, Leanne completed a secondment with a major client of the firm to assist them with changes to the regulation of Jersey funds. In addition to her funds work, Leanne advises on a range of corporate matters such as property financing and restructuring work. Leanne has particular expertise in corporate migrations. Leanne's key clients include 3i, BlackRock, Cordea Savills LLP, Coriolis Capital Limited, Lloyds TSB, the Goodman Group and Triton.

Professional qualifications:

Leanne was called to the Bar of England & Wales in October 2006 and qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales (currently non-practising) in July 2007. Leanne completed her Master of Laws in Professional Legal Skills in December 2008 with Distinction.

Highlight deals:

Leanne advised 3i Quoted Private Equity plc ("3i QPE") in relation to the acquisition by 3i Group plc of the assets of 3i QPE under a voluntary solvent liquidation scheme.Under the proposals, shareholders of 3i QPE received a mixture of cash and equity in 3i Group in consideration for their shares in 3i QPE;

Leanne assisted with the establishment and financing of a new closed-ended property investment fund known as Cordea Savills UK Property Ventures No. 1. The fund, which is structured as an English Limited Partnership has a variety of European feeder vehicles including a Jersey company providing for investment by way of a stapled package of shares and loan notes; and

Leanne advised 3i Investments plc in relation to the 3i India Infrastructure Fund, a fund established to invest in the rapidly growing Indian Infrastructure market.
