Employment history:

Robert is known for his very commercial approach, has strong connections with the London firms and often acts on multi-jurisdictional work. He joined Mourant Ozannes in 1999 following eight years with Clifford Chance in London and is the managing partner of the Guernsey office. He has wide experience of corporate, commercial and banking disputes including regulatory investigations and prosecutions. Together with Christopher Edwards, he is retained on one of the largest value pieces of trust litigation ever dealt with in Guernsey, which has involved in a number of applications to Courts in England and South Africa as well as Guernsey. Robert has a broad array of clients and legal experience but specialises in finance and fiduciary services where he has been involved in some of the leading cases concerning fraud and disclosure orders and their impact upon local financial institutions as well as acting on some of the leading trust cases. In addition, he has strong commercial and employment expertise. He has also been involved in a growing number of mediations.

Robert qualified as a Solicitor (England) in 1993 and an Advocate (Guernsey) in 2002. Robert is a partner of Mourant Ozannes, Guernsey.
