The Cayman Islands is one of the world's leading international financial centres providing institutionally focused, specialised financial services.

Cayman is the second largest captive domicile in the world with more than 700 captives, writing more than US$7.7 billion of premiums and with US$36.8 billion of assets under management.

Cayman's regulatory and transparency standards are amongst the best in the world. As a member of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), Cayman has full "regulator-to-regulator" disclosure with all IOSCO regulators. The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has placed the Cayman Islands on its 'white list' of jurisdictions that substantially implement international tax standards.
