MO fielded an international team lead by Partner Simon Felton and Counsel Vic Cabot, working with leading international law firm Simmons and Simmons, to deliver advice in relation to the laws of BVI, Cayman, Guernsey and Jersey.


Leading international law firm, Mourant Ozannes, has advised O3b Networks Limited on the acquisition of a controlling interest in O3b Networks by its largest shareholder, SES S.A..


Mourant Ozannes advised Canada Pension Plan Investment Board on the British Virgin Islands, Guernsey and Jersey law aspects of its £1.1 billion acquisition of the UK student accommodation portfolio of Liberty Living from Brandeaux Student Accommodation Fund.  The Liberty Living corporate structure involved a large number of subsidiaries, including 30 subsidiaries incorporated in the BVI.

The BVI team was led by Partner Mike Williams and Senior Associate Nat Luker.  The Jersey and Guernsey teams were led by Partner Joel Hernandez and Partner John Rochester.
