Our work in the community

At Mourant Ozannes we are proud to support the communities in which we live and work. Our staff are involved in many community projects and fund raising initiatives for worthy causes in the BVI, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey.

Latest updates on our community initiatives

As part of our commitment to the community, Mourant Ozannes has introduced a number of key sponsorships across all of our locations. These sponsorships are in line with our vision and values and, we hope, will make a real difference to the communities in which we operate whilst also engaging our employees through support and involvement.

Over the past 12 months we have supported a number of community initiatives including:

  • Donation to Cayman youth cricket to help with their budget shortfall.
  • Donation to the Cayman Islands Red Cross to help with the hurricane relief efforts.
  • Main sponsor for the Jersey Heritage education initiative.
  • Internship programme for high school students in the Cayman Islands.
  • Sole sponsor of The Rotary "Youth Speaks" Competition in Guernsey secondary schools.
  • Sponsor of the Guernsey T20 cricket tournament.
  • Sponsorship for the Cayman team in the inaugural Rugby Youth challenge cup.
  • Donation to raise awareness for the adult literacy campaign in Guernsey.
  • Supporter of the National Council of Voluntary Organisations Telethon in the Cayman Islands.
  • Sponsor of the Jersey Marathon Relay Race.
  • Participants in the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce Earth clean up day.
  • Participants in the community regeneration projects in Guernsey.
